Backtest and paper trading results shown on TradeBotPro are simulated and subject to the following limitations:

  • Hindsight bias: Backtests are run on historical data that has already occurred; the strategy had no real-time uncertainty during simulation
  • No slippage: Simulations assume orders fill at the target price, while real markets may execute at different prices due to spread, liquidity, and market impact
  • No partial fills: Real orders may be partially filled at multiple prices or not filled at all
  • Fee approximations: Backtests use estimated fee rates; actual fees vary and may differ
  • Survivorship bias: Historical price data may not reflect coins that have failed or been delisted
  • Over-optimization: Strategies may perform better on historical data than on unseen future data ("curve fitting")

Automated Trading Risks

  • Unmonitored operation: Bots operating without regular human oversight may continue trading during adverse conditions

You are responsible for monitoring your bots at all times. TradeBotPro does not monitor bots on your behalf. You should regularly review your bot activity and stop bots if market conditions or your financial situation change.

Your Sole Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all trading decisions. TradeBotPro is a software tool that executes trades based exclusively on parameters and strategies YOU configure. By using the Service, you confirm that:

Regulatory and Jurisdictional Notice

TradeBotPro connects to third-party exchanges (Coinbase, Kraken) but is entirely independent of and not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by these exchanges. Your funds are held on the exchange, not by TradeBotPro. TradeBotPro has no control over:

  • Exchange security or the risk of exchange hacks
  • Exchange insolvency, regulatory action, or shutdown
  • Exchange-imposed trading halts, withdrawals freezes, or API changes
  • The accuracy of price data provided by exchanges

All exchange-related risks are borne entirely by you.
